What started as a passion for working hands-on has grown into a full-service operation that allows me to choose the specialties that I enjoy and excel at while creating quality crafted art and a service that goes beyond just building and repair. From welding steel bases, glueing table tops, framing a new kitchen, or getting a 40-year-old boiler running smoothly again in the middle of a Minnesota January, every job gets the same attention to detail and pride in the work.

Additionally, creating quality pieces is great, but my true passion building a carreer on learning and sharing knowledge with those who want to learn and dive into a dying craft.

The focus at Redwood Builds is simple and can be summed up in three simple words:

Build. Remodel. Repair.

Build.

This is where the fun begins. With being located in northern Minnesota, I have access to some of the best hardwood resources but also have to work through a different set of challenges to create quality work from them.

I design and handcraft furniture and decor that blend hardwood, live-edge slabs, epoxy resin, and metalwork. From epoxy river dining tables to minimalist accessories, floating shelves, custom bar tops, and everything in between — if you can dream it, I can probably build it. You’ll also find my digital side in the online store: ready-to-print 3D models, laser-engraving files, and detailed woodworking plans so you and other makers everywhere can create alongside me.

Remodel.

Have an idea in mind? Let’s make it happen. I handle residential remodeling projects big and small — kitchens, bathrooms, basements. Thoughtful and function design, clean execution, and respect for your budget and timeline are considered in every job.

Repair.

Northern Minnesota weather and temperatur is tough on properties. I strive to provide honest handyman and maintenance services while preventing problems before they happen and create bigger issues. Whatever your problem might be, honest feedback and wide variety of resources will get you the solution that you need. I’ve got the tools, the training, and the attitude to get it fixed right the first time.
